Six years ago, our founder’s life changed when her mother, Beverly Brown Cheney, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and other health challenges. As her primary caregiver, she made the deeply personal decision to pause her career and fully commit to her care. Through that journey—filled with hospital visits, therapy sessions, and countless appointments—one problem kept appearing: reliable, compassionate transportation was hard to find.
It was more than a gap; it was a barrier to dignity and independence for people like Beverly. That realization sparked the beginning of Assist You, a service built on empathy, experience, and a personal mission to make transportation simpler, safer, and more respectful for those who need it most.
